Nut butter is so quick and easy. Give this a go when you have 20 mins to spare.
You just need about 300g of nuts, your choice, I would recommend cashews or almonds or hazlenuts or a mixture of two of them.
1. Set your oven to 180°
2. When it is at temperature spread your nuts into a single layer in a roasting tin or baking sheet.
3. Bake for roughly 8 mins (every oven is slightly different), they should be lightly golden.
4. Tip the nuts into the Thermomix bowl, add 1/2 tsp of sea salt, and grind on speed 9, stopping regularly to scrape down the sides. You will be able to see when you have achieved a good consistency. Taste for salt.
5. Store in clean jars.
